How our training sessions work

Training is a core part of how we work as a salon. We run structured education across every level of our team, creating space for skill-building, creative development, and ongoing learning throughout the year.

Our training sessions are planned in advance and vary in focus, depending on the stage of development and the type of work being carried out. Hair models are always matched to sessions based on suitability, experience level, and the aims of the session.

Assistant training sessions take place weekly and focus on building strong foundations across cut and colour services. These sessions are professionally led, with clear structure and support in place to ensure a positive experience for both the model and the assistant.

Models booked into assistant training sessions are offered reduced-cost appointments, with plenty of time allowed for consultation, learning, and care.

Monthly team training sessions bring our stylists together to continue refining technique, share ideas, and develop their craft collaboratively. These sessions may focus on specific cutting or colouring techniques, trends, or ways of working.

Models booked into team training sessions can expect a confident, professional experience within a calm salon environment.

Alongside regular training, we occasionally run creative workshops and photoshoots. These sessions are more exploratory and may involve editorial-style cut and colour work, styling, or creative concepts used for education and imagery.

These opportunities are less frequent and are matched carefully based on hair type, suitability, and interest.

Every appointment begins with a thorough consultation. This allows us to assess hair type, condition, suitability, and expectations before confirming any service.

Not every model submission will be suitable for every session, and being selected for one type of training does not guarantee future bookings. We always aim to place models where the experience will be positive, appropriate, and well matched.
